Create A Field For Inventory Details

It is sometimes useful to create an additional field for tracking information like the Slabsmith ID or a link to slab image stored on a Google drive. Serial Number Fields are stored at the level of each, unique serial number item in your inventory.

1. Go to Settings > Inventory > Serial Number Fields and click +Create Field.
2. Enter Name.
3. Choose Data Type. NOTE: If you want to be able to search by this field, select Text rather than Number.
4. Click Save.
5. The field will now appear as an optional in the Serial Number Info.
