Sample Report: Activity Duration

After you've been tracking the duration of your Job Activities for a while, you may want to know how long you're spending on every Job.  You can find the total duration of all Activities or just look at the duration of specific Activities.

To track the Total Duration by Job

This will give you the total duration of all the Activities in the Job.

  1. Go to Reports > +Create.
  2. Choose your Time Selection.
  3. Click the  "..." button to the right of the Measure box.
    Subject Area: Job Activity
    Measure: Total Duration
    by Time Field: Job Creation Date
  4. Click Save
  5. Add any desired Display Fields and then click Apply.

To Track Duration of one Activity Type

This will give you the duration of one type of Activity, for example, Install or Fabrication.  This way you can take a look at how much time you're spending on one type of Activity.

  1. Go to Reports > +Create.
  2. Choose your Time Selection.
  3. Click the  "..." button to the right of the Measure box.
    Subject Area: Job Activity
    Measure: Total Duration
    by Time Field: Activity Date
  4. Click Save.

  5. Click the + to the right of Filters
    Filter Type: Activity
    Activity Type: Choose the activity you'd like to report on
  6. Click Save.
