Add an Auto-number Lead Field to your Lead Process to automatically assign a number to Leads as they are created.
- Go to Settings > Job > Job Fields.
- At the top for Process click Lead.
- Press + Create at the top of the page.
- In the Name field, type in "Lead Number".
- In the Data Type choose Auto-number.
- Adding a prefix or suffix to the number is optional. If you'd like to add either one, or both, type in the Auto-Number Prefix or Suffix box.
- Click Save.
