Create A Remnant For Leftover Material: Tracking By Square Feet

When you assign a slab to a Job but don't use all of it, you can create a remnant for the remaining piece(s). Do this directly from the Job.

1. From the Job, click on the Allocation.
2. Click on the Serial Number.
3. Click on +Remnant.
4. Enter the size of the leftover Remnant and click Save.
5. Creating a Remnant adjusts the size of the Allocation in the Job.

View Serial Number details, notice that a new Serial Number is created for the Remnant and that the original piece balances to 0.
