Create An Account Field For Account Type

Do you want to organize your Accounts by Account type? Create a List Of Values Account Field that will appear in the Account Info Area. Select the type of Account from the drop-down list for the new Account Field.


  1. Go to Settings > Account > Account Fields.
  2. Click the Create button form the top menu bar > Name the Account Field > Select List Of Values for Data Type.
  3. Enter each Account type, one per line > Select any additional options > Save.Create an account field for account type
  4. Go to Settings > Account > Accounts > open an Account.
  5. Click the Edit Account Info icon > Select an Account Type from the drop-down list for the new Account Field.select an account type from a list of values account field
