As you use Systemize you may find there are Fields or Values you created that you don't use anymore. To remove the custom Field from a Job or Account Detail page without losing historical information entered in these Fields, inactivate them instead of deleting them. Inactivating a Field or Value will prevent it from showing up on new records, but will still display them on previous records if a value was entered.
INACTIVATE CUSTOM FIELDS
- Go to where the custom field exists:
Settings > Job > Job Fields for Job Fields or
Settings > Account > Account Fields for Account fields. - Click the custom field name and check the Inactive box.
INACTIVATE CUSTOM FIELD VALUES
- Go to where the custom field exists: Settings > Job > Job Fields (for Job Fields) or Settings > Account > Account Fields (for Account fields).
- Click the field name and click the Values... icon at the top.
- Click on the underlined value you want to make inactive and then check the Inactive box.
