Lead View: All Active Sales Leads Or Open Activites

Leads and Jobs are both Processes. When all the Activities in a Process are Complete or Canceled, the Process is considered Complete. That works very well for Jobs, but has some drawbacks for Leads.

If you only have two Activities in a Lead, and both of those are completed, the Leads will switch from a status of Active to Compete, even if you plan to follow up with them in a few months.

To keep the Lead Active, always add an Activity set to the estimated future follow up date, or include all Lead Statuses when creating this View, if filtering by Job Status.

Multiple Filters can be applied to a View. This article shows how to create a View of all open Activities or open Activities by Salesperson.

Save the Lead View for quick access later.


  1. Click on Leads from the left side navigation.
  2. Click on Customize from the top menu >  Add Filter icon across from Filters.
  3. Select:
    Filter Type: Lead Activity Info
    AtLeastOne is selected
    Activity Type: select all or a specific Activities
    Start Date: Any
    Status: Is Not : Complete, Canceled
    Assigned To: Any, or select Assignees
  4. Click Save > Apply to see your View.

To see the open Activities for a specific Salesperson, add a second Filter for that individual.

  1. Click on Customize from the top menu >  Add Filter icon across from Filters.
  2. Select:
    Filter Type: Lead Field
    Lead Field: Lead Salesperson
    Lead Salesperson: select one or more individualsfilter systemize leads by lead salesperson
