Product Family and Product Line are the most flexible elements of your Inventory Product structure. Although it's very cumbersome to restructure your Products and Attributes that make up your Product Variants, t's easy to reassign and regroup your Products using Product Family and Product Line in order to make it easy to view your Inventory by type.

Product Family

The Product Family is the highest level grouping you would use to organize your Inventory Products. Many fabricators use: 

• Slab
• Sink
• Tooling
• Misc.

Product Line

The Product Line creates subgroups of the Product Family. Many fabricators use:

• Natural
• Quartz
• Engineered Stone
• Ceramic
• Solid Surface
• Stock Sinks
• Special Order Sinks
• Blades
• Brackets
• Sealants
